Julia Behbudov is an opera singer whose artistry unites vocal depth, stylistic refinement, and a strong sense of musical storytelling. Her performances are marked by a natural musicality and a deep understanding of character, allowing audiences not only to hear the music, but to experience the dramatic journey within it.
Since 2011, Julia has been working at the Opera and Ballet Theatre of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after Rimsky-Korsakov. Since 2015, she has been a soloist of the International Academy of Music named after Elena Obraztsova where she was awarded the nomination "The Best Voice of the Academy".
Julia has participated in prestigious international programs such as Académie Lyrique at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo and the International Opera Academy in Montecatini Terme, Italy.
Her repertoire includes various roles such as Desdemona in Verdi's Otello, Donna Anna in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Mimì in Puccini's La Bohème, Marguerite in Gounod's Faust, Fiordiligi in Mozart's Così Fan Tutte, Tatyana in Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin and Lisa in Tchaikovsky's Le Pique Dame.
She graduated with honors of the Music Faculty from Herzen State University in St. Petersburg.
